MEC appoints Marc Ghosn as General Manager - UAE

MEC today announced Marc Ghosn as General Manager - UAE. Marc Ghosn comes from a position as Client Servicing Director with MEC Dubai and Regional Head of Digital MEC MENA. In his new role, Marc’s primary focus will be to oversee the UAE operations and manage client relations and talent development, and he will report to Mohan Nambiar, CEO - MEC MENA.   

Commenting on the appointment, Mohan Nambiar said, “Marc has been instrumental in the digital development of MEC in MENA and thanks to him we now have a strong digital culture in place to secure continued growth for our clients. In addition, Marc has robust management experience and has been an integral part of MEC for more than 10 years. I believe that we couldn’t have found a better person to lead MEC UAE.”

 

Marc Ghosn said, “It is with great pleasure that I take on this new challenge and I am confident that we will continue to build on the momentum that has fueled MEC’s success in the region to date.”

 

About Marc Ghosn

After completing his Masters in International Economics in 2003, Marc setup his own business in Beirut. In 2005 he joined MEC as a Media Planner and worked his way to the position of Head of Digital, all the while supervising a large part of the client servicing team.   As part of MEC’s succession planning to head the business in the future, Marc was identified as a top talent and was selected in 2012 to be part of MEC’s Global Future Leaders Program. Marc has worked with clients like Nestle, Emaar, Citibank, DHL, Ford, General Electric, Jaguar Land Rover, Landmark Group & General Mills. His public sector experience includes: National Bonds, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Road and Transport Authority, Emirates Diplomatic Academy.
