MEC MENA WINS GOLD AT THE 2017 MENA DIGITAL AWARDS

MEC MENA took home a Gold and 2 Bronze awards at the 2017 MENA Digital Awards Ceremony last night at the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi.

The MENA Digital Awards (MDA) are a bespoke awards show whose purpose is to promote digital innovation and media in MENA. It is the first awards show to honor digital efforts in the region.

All wins were for the MEC’s activation of Jaguar’s F-PACE MENA Launch in May 2016 at the Burj Khalifa, a world first.

The Gold was won for Best Integrated Media Campaign and the 2 Bronze were for Best Use of Data and Best Use of Digital (Sector:Automative).

Commenting on the win, Hannah Naji, Brand Director at Jaguar Land Rover Middle East and North Africa said: “For the launch of Jaguar's first ever SUV we wanted to make huge statement and our World First concept delivered beyond our wildest expectations. Seeing the Burj Khalifa illuminated with our animation was one of my proudest moments. The content was seen by millions of people and brought to life our positioning "The Art of Performance" in a truly iconic and memorable way. It was great to see all our agencies come together to help us deliver a truly integrated, impactful and shareable campaign. Winning the Best Integrated Media Campaign at the MENA Digital Awards is a testament to the outstanding work that revitalized our brand in the eyes of the consumer and marked a true turning point for Jaguar and the F-PACE in the region.”

Marc Ghosn, General Manager, MEC UAE,  said, “I am very proud of these award wins. I strongly believe that when we integrate specialists departments and business units, we will achieve so much more – and these awards win are testimony to that. I would also like to thank JLR and Spark 44 for their immense support and contribution.”
